14 • The Sixth Beatitude

The fourth window on the north side depicts the Sixth Beatitude, “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.” The left medallion depicts the calling of Nathaniel. In the right medallion, Christ blesses the children. Kneeling angels below hold fleur-de-lys as symbols of purity.

The window is a memorial to Lucy Wilson Peters and was dedicated in 1949.
