The second window on the north side depicts the Second Beatitude, “Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.” In the left medallion, Christ mourns over Jerusalem. In the right medallion, Christ raises the widow’s son from the dead. Kneeling angels below each bear an inverted torch, symbolizing a life cut short.
The window is a memorial to Warren Eugene McCord, Ellen Wiley McCord, McCord McDonough, and Major G. C. Von Egloffstein and was dedicated on June 1, 1947
