The windows in the north vestibule are examples of windows made by Povey Brothers Glass that were original to the Cathedral and installed during construction in 1905. These windows are a hybrid design, consisting mostly of cathedral glass but with areas of customized opalescent glass.
Povey Brothers was a large and very well know art glass company based in Portland that operated from 1888 to 1928. Known for the beauty and quality of their work, the company was often referred to as the “Tiffany of the Northwest.”
