The Bishop Scott window in the east wall of the nave was originally made for the second church at Sixth and Oak. In the center, St. Peter is shown holding the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. To the left of St. Peter is the inscription “Follow thou me and I will make you fishers of men”. On the right is the inscription “Feed my sheep.” The window was a gift from the Trinity Women’s Guild in memory of the Rt. Rev. Thomas Fielding Scott, the first missionary bishop of the Oregon and Washington territories. First installed in our second church in 1873, then rescued after the fire and installed in this church, the window has now been overlooking the faithful of Trinity for over 150 years.
