The baptismal font in the chapel was commissioned for the second church with money raised by the Sunday school children in the first church. A local craftsman, William Young, carved the font from stone quarried in Oregon. The inscription around the top of the font reads “The Children of Grace, One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism.” The inscription on the base reads “Trinity Church Sunday School 1871.” Christian symbols framed in trefoil panels are carved on each of the font’s eight sides. The symbols include two crosses, Chi Rho, Iota Eta Sigma, a dove, a cross and crown, Alpha Omega and a fleur-de-lis.
