The Stations of the Cross are a Christian devotion that depicts the events leading up to Jesus's death. You can find the 14 stations along the side and entrance walls of the basilica. The stations are a series of images or carvings that represent different moments in Jesus's Passion and death, from his condemnation by Pontius Pilate to his entombment. Devotional prayers can be recited at each station.
Please stand beside one of the pillars in the church for the next station.
