Entering the Gates of the Heavenly City

Stopping in the foyer of the Basilica, keep in mind that gothic architecture tells a “story in stone”, and each detail is created with spiritual significance.   

Walking through the interior doors into the church represents an entry through  “the gates to the Heavenly city”.  The gothic architecture of the Basilica draws the eyes to look up in wonder and awe.

Please walk through the door into the main church.
