Sharon Strasburg "Distant Rhythms"

The vast landscapes of the American West are a visual testament to the marvels of nature. 

 

Time is revealed in the rhythmic layers of stone carved by thousands of years of weather and water.

 

If you’ve ever stood at the edge of the canyon lands in Utah you know that no picture can match that profoundly humbling sensation. 

I hope my collaged laser cut paintings conjure memories of that experience.
