1918 Cretors Popcorn Wagon
The top of the line 1918 Cretors Sidewalk Popcorn Wagon was an all in one business venture that could be purchased for about $1,000 in that year. A steam engine provides power for the peanut roaster and popcorn popper, and a concession shelf makes treats readily available for theatre patrons in cities nationwide.
This deluxe, hand-drawn popcorn wagon has solid axles and transverse, fully-elliptical front leaf springs, and longitudinal semi-elliptical rear springs. Original French plate beveled glass encloses the wagon. A hollow-wire gas lantern adorns the interior and illuminates the sweet and savory offerings.
Only a few Cretors Model A popcorn wagons are thought to exist today.
