This original 1954 Jaguar XK120 was dispatched from London docks to Charles Hornburg, the United States West Coast Jag dealer on May 20th, 1954. Through the years it has undergone extensive restorations to both mechanical and cosmetic parts, rendering it a show-quality artifact of British automobilia.
A technologically advanced double overhead cam straight six engine features a high strength aluminum alloy cylinder head, hemispherical combustion chambers and inclined valves with twin side side-draft carburetors.
An all steel body and heavy duty torsion bars allow for optimal performance and precision handling. The XK120 was the fastest production car at the time of its debut, and in 1954 won the Grand National NASCAR Road Race. Over 12,000 XKEs were produced, exceeding company expectations.
