The 1913 Stanley Model 64 is a 20-horsepower roadster completed in period-correct Washington Blue with hand-applied pinstriping. This is one of two cars that began the collection and was used for touring before being restored by Charlie Johnson and his team.
The typical vertical fire-tube boiler over burner configuration can be seen in this car, as with other Stanleys of this era. The water tank is behind the seat, below a small box platform with stanchion rail, and the exposed cylindrical fuel tank is behind the water tank, at the rear of the car. Two acetylene tanks provide fuel for lighting the head lamps. The pump assembly and cylinder oil tank are located under the seat.
