Eternity (Random Order)

Near my childhood school is a long stack of rocks, placed there in no particular fashion by Mr. Glenn. I’ve painted five versions of this scene over a period of years. I was interested in capturing how stones cast shadows. Sometimes I’ve felt the impulse to simply jump over this wall and walk off into eternity, never to return!
