Fox Grapes

Fox grapes refers to the native grape vines found by the early settlers and consumed by the native Americans for centuries. This plot of thick vines is a place where I played as a child over 60 years ago. I made a pilgrimage to this spot several years ago, worked on some pencil sketches, and used them for this studio painting. Can you spot me over the oblique horizon?
