Reluctance

Quite simply, this painting was inspired by the Robert Frost poem titled “Reluctance.” Frost wrote in metaphorical verse about the reason for the loss of a love or a season. The oak leaves scraping across the windswept snow emphasize the transience of our lives. Here today, gone tomorrow.
