Cabbage White

A hike at Hawk Mountain presented an opportunity to discover a massive tree fungus that I diligently sketched. Upon near completion of this studio painting, I felt it needed something extra in the composition. I added several cabbage white moths to serve as a counterpoint to the white striations of the fungus. I think it helped.
