Silver Threads

Spiders had woven a series of silvery webs on the remnants of a fallen tree. I came upon this scene in the woods as the morning sun was striking the dew laden webs. With a few strokes and a swoosh of the brush, I added the fine webs and finished this oil. It was based on a pencil sketch and vivid memories of my morning hike.
