Tightrope

This studio work was composed using a small ink sketch I painted on location. The Lutz farm is just down the road from my art gallery. Notice the original red barn paint visible beneath the newer coat of white. The color of the Rhode Island Red chickens echos the building's paint pigment in this oil painting.
