Trestle Goose

Trestle Goose is another one of my early egg tempera paintings. Year after year a Canada goose returns to build its nest atop an abandoned trestle next to the Ontelaunee Stream. Safe and sound on this perch, the goose bears its offspring, impervious to high waters and sly foxes.
