For many people, motorcycles represent a form of escape from the demands and repetitin of the everyday world. They offer a sense of freedom, adventure, and personal expression that can't always be found in conventional, everyday life. The concept of wabi-sabi, the Japanese aesthetic that values imperfection, impermanence, and the beauty of things that are handmade or weathered with age aligns seamlessly with the essence of motorcycles. Like wabi-sabi objects, motorcylces are often crafted with a deep sense of individuality and craftsmanship. Each one is unique, shaped by the hands that create it and the rider who rides it, making it an expression of self and identity. Motorcycles connect to science due to conservation of mometum. This represents being able to hit the road and not knowing where you'll end up. We can evaluate the cycles and rhythms of the world by looking at how people move around and how they take ownership of that mode of transportation as a method of self-expression. We can also look at how people can use different modes of transportation to not only move around, but also self-express.
