Haym Salomon Bill of Exchange, 1784

While most widely known as a financer of the American Revolution, Jewish Patriot Haym Salomon's role is far more complex. A member of the Sons of Liberty and contemporary of Nathan Hale, Salomon served 18 months in prison for espionage, and faced additional time before he escaped to Philadelphia.
