Welcome to Cat Tales Wildlife Center

Welcome to Cat Tales Wildlife Center.

As you explore the sanctuary today, you will meet animals from around the world, including tigers, lynx, bobcats, bears, foxes, raccoons, wolfdogs, servals, and more. Every animal here is an individual, with its own personality, behaviors, and story.

Cat Tales was founded in 1991 with a mission centered on wildlife education, rescue, and lifelong care. Many of the residents you will see today could not survive in the wild due to injury, human imprinting, or previous captive situations. Here, they receive professional care, enrichment, and safe habitats designed to support both their physical and behavioral needs.

Cat Tales is also home to the Wildlife Academy, where students train alongside experienced staff to learn animal care, habitat maintenance, enrichment, observation skills, and safety practices. Education plays an important role here — not only for students, but for every guest who visits.

As you walk through the sanctuary, you may notice some animals resting quietly, observing from a distance, or choosing not to interact. Animals experience the world differently throughout the day, and part of understanding wildlife is learning to respect those choices.

This audio tour is designed to help you learn more about the species that live here, the individual animals in our care, and the importance of conservation and responsible wildlife education.

You may follow the tour in either direction around the loop. Each stop can be enjoyed independently, so feel free to explore at your own pace.

Thank you for visiting Cat Tales Wildlife Center, and enjoy your tour.
