Loretta Building: 210 North Broadway

Loretta Building at 210 Broadway North was built from 1909 to 1912 and is a three story, cream brick. The central bay is divided into two double sets of windows between plain brick pilasters. The third story windows are slightly arched with tall keystones. The second story paired windows have flat arches. The cornice and parapet is slightly taller in the center bay and has a carved name block "Loretta" on the brick parapet.

The Loretta Building was the brainchild of early Fargo businessman Peter Elliott, who named it after his youngest daughter Loretta. First arriving in the area via ox cart in 1873, Elliott worked on a steamboat and did survey work for the government before becoming a prominent businessman and mayor of the city.  

Today, the Loretta Building is owned by the Kilbourne Group.
