Paintings of the Word
God’s Original Plan
These paintings were directly inspired by the insights of Rev. Sun Myung Moon. His words reveal the beauty of God’s heart, His anticipation as He began to shape that precious heart into substance, and His dream for humankind.
The first six paintings try to capture the experiences of God throughout the six days of creation as described in the Book of Genesis. The seventh painting seeks to convey God’s subsequent day of rest. Rev. Moon’s intimate relationship with God enabled him to spiritually intuit what the process of creation was actually like. His sensitive insights reveal how meticulously God created over the billions of years and His ecstasy after creating the first man and woman as pure and innocent babies.
The second set of 14 paintings depict the principles of creation, which describe how God expressed Himself in the creation. Rev. Moon’s revelation of the purpose of life becomes clear through these paintings.
These paintings only speak of the original world as intended by God, and of the universal principles that underlie His Creation.
