The Pair System

(Masculinity and Femininity)

Genesis 1:27  So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them, male and female He created them.

That God created man and woman in His image means that human beings resemble God. God created all things in the universe. Looking at them brings Him happiness because they resemble Him.

Each man represents the entire masculine world; each woman represents the entire feminine world. When they come together, they represent the universe and the total image of God.

God prepared everything in the created world as a textbook, inspiring His beloved son and daughter to establish the ideal of love. That is why everything exists in the pair system. The mineral kingdom operates through the subject and object system. Without movement, there can be no eternal existence.

Consider electricity. No matter how perfect a positive charge is, without a negative charge it will disappear.

God – as the seed of love, the fruit of love and the original essence of love – plants love in all places where things exist in pairs.

The world is a model and museum, showing human beings how to lead an ideal life... We were meant to discover that living things are made in interacting pairs in order to do things for each other, call each other and love each other.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    - SMM

About the painting: Through the interactions of male and female animals, human beings can learn important virtues. They can learn the incredible patience and dedication of such creatures as the emperor penguins and the mandarin ducks. These beautiful ducks form lifelong pairs, being a symbol of marital fidelity.
