Escape the Fake

It can feel pretty crummy when you find out someone has lied to you.  You might react with sadness or anger, and it can be difficult to trust that person again.

Whether we realize it or not, this is happening to all of us, every day, on a truly global scale. Just like lies between friends, misleading information creates chaos and distrust in our society. But as we’ve seen throughout the WonderMedia exhibit, there are tools we can use to spot misleading information and keep it from spreading.

Let’s put some of those tools into practice by playing Escape the Fake! This is an online adventure where you must answer questions to earn ‘Truth Clues’ to escape false information. This digital game has TWO different game sequences so stick around for both. It takes about 4 minutes to complete and has basic and advanced levels with two different escape scenarios.
