Next stop, 520 Riverside Drive, built in 1916. This was the first house built in Eagle Point County, designed by George Reinfrank for his brother Eugene, who was a prominent Toledo attorney. Many colonial details, including two Tuscan columns and an entryway and classic Polydian windows.
Portico in the front is the federal period style. The hip roof is made of Dudausi Cellion Company tiles, with each tile weighing three pounds. It features a large center hall and an elegant dining room overlooking the Maumee River.
A wooden banister leads to the upstairs master bedroom that includes dressing and sitting rooms and two full baths off the dressing rooms. The original design included a detached brick carriage house, which a later edition connected the house to the carriage house. A large screen and porch offer a wide view of the Maumee River.
