Rossford Veterans Memorial Park
As you arrive at Rossford Veterans Memorial Park, you’ll find yourself right along the banks of the Maumee River—a setting that has drawn people here for generations. This park was built by the United States Army Corps of Engineers in the 1950s, and it quickly became a favorite gathering place for the community.
For many years, families came here for picnics and lively carnivals organized by the Rossford American Legion and VFW. It was a place full of activity, laughter, and community spirit.
Today, the park continues to be a hub of recreation. You’ll see people boating and fishing along the river, little league teams playing on the ball diamond, and others enjoying the tennis and basketball courts. There are picnic shelters for gatherings and the all-inclusive playground designed for everyone to enjoy.
And if you’re here in August, this park comes alive as the home of Rossford’s annual Riverfest celebration—a tradition that brings the community together year after year.
