April Morrison is a St. Louis-based visual artist whose work is shaped by her background in fine arts, management, and the culinary arts. Alongside her spouse, artist Theresa Hopkins, she co-owns Ellipsis Studio STL, supporting creative projects, and fostering connections within the arts community.

Working primarily with paper, acrylic paint, and mixed media, Morrison creates artwork inspired by everyday life, particularly within the local culinary and LGBTQIA+ communities. Her recent work explores the versatility of paper through collage, assemblage, and quilling, using this familiar and accessible material to invite viewers into meaningful conversations about inclusion, representation, and belonging. Through her art, she celebrates the diverse stories that make St. Louis vibrant while amplifying underrepresented voices and fostering connection across communities.
