Maps show us where we can go and where we have been.
They keep us from getting lost but they can also show us a jump point to an entirely new place. One not on our path.
Maps are treasured ancient things, artifacts made on the fly, words kindly yelled to a passing stranger, photos of vacation, poems and recipes and hopes scribbled on scrap.
They can free or confine us. Define us.
This map, thus far, represents me.
