The 2017 MINI introduced a new John Cooper Works convertible. The 2017 press release from MINI stated, “When passion for motor racing is the driving force and intense open-air pleasure the goal, the new MINI John Cooper Works Convertible takes the ideal line from the word go.”
The Convertible was the second JCW model of the F57 generation and had its engine and suspension technology optimized for use on the racetrack with distinctive design and equipment combined with the more refined qualities of the new MINI Convertible.
Steven is a MINI super fan owning three MINI JCWs. His passion for the MINI brand doesn’t stop with just the awesome JCW cars. He also has a large collection of MINI memorabilia including wall banners, and a nearly unobtainable set of the original MINI Mandarina duck luggage. If that wasn’t enough Steven also has MINI watches, a picnic and coffee set, mugs, jackets, original shirts, basically just about any official MINI merchandise that was ever created.
Steven says: “My first and current MINI is Mia, a Space Blue Metallic JCW from 2006 that I still own. I fell in love with the handling and how good the car made me feel. I’ve had a lot of fun trips in this car going across the country and to a lot of MINI events. The people in this MINI culture are awesome and fun to be around and help each other out. Century MINI told me this convertible was beingdelivered. I always wanted a convertible and I was hooked. Driving my MINIs always puts a big smile on my face.
