Club Mangrove is a small tree of distinctive shape and position, The trunk base is markedly enlarged giving the trunk a pyramid shape, This tree can be found in exposed sandy beach sites and appears to be tolerant of high soil salinity and high sunlight, Distribution is restricted to Phuket, Phang-nga, Ranong and Satun provinces
