After the pandemic, the investors paid a visit to Darrell's studio.  

When they saw that he was still continuing to grind, they re-committed to their investment in him.

During this time, Darrell went to an event at Neiman Marcus with a colleague.  He had been experimenting with apparel and was wearing his own designs.
