Hooker School House

Believed to originally be called the District 8 School House, this is another of the 16 schools outside Angelica. It was nicknamed the Hooker School House for the family that lived nearby. A member of that family donated the land and building for use as a school house. This may have happened around or between 1910 and 1917 when Alonzo Hooker deeded the property to Charles Hooker. Currently the building is a private residence.
