Stockade Sites Marker

Here you will see an HSRAA Historical Sign for the Stockade Sites.  This is one of several historical signs that you can find around Camp Horseshoe.  

Take a moment to read the information on the historical sign regarding the stockade sites.  

To your right is the Stockade Trail that will lead you to other campsites including the Kit Carson, Conestoga, Lenni-Lenape, Davy Crockett, Bayard Taylor, and Col. Clifton Lisle campsites.

To your left is the Dan Beard campsite, named after the first commissioner of Scouting Daniel Carter Beard.
