Sukkot station numbers2

Station 2 - Isaac & Rebecca

We would like to introduce you to Isaac and Rebecca, a married couple who teach us gevurah, strength. Isaac is an example of powerlessness - one who was very passive and didn't have much of a will of his own. On the other hand, Rebecca by causing her son Jacob to take his brother's birthright, is someone who takes control over the future of her people. When might it be best to sit back and let others lead, and when is it important to take action for what we believe in? What are some examples of actions that we can be taking in order to ensure a better future for humankind? When are examples of gevurah, or strength that you see around you, that can be put on our sukkah?
