Town Creek Bridge

This part of the Trailway follows Town Creek and crosses the creek at this bridge. Town Creek runs through the City of Weatherford and eventually to the Trinity River. The Town Creek bottomland is a great habitat for the birds of the area. The wooded area along the trail provides a home for many species of Texas bird, including Northern Cardinals, Carolina Chickadees, Black Crested Titmouse, Woodpeckers, Wrens and many other species. Look and listen for these birds along this part of the trail.
