Special Collections (HIL)

There are two special collection areas on the fourth floor: the Eileen Wallace Children's Literature Collection and the Beaverbrook Collection. No food or drink are allowed in these areas.

The Eileen Wallace Children's Literature Collection (HIL-CLC) is the largest research collection of its kind in Atlantic Canada. Library users may look at the books in the space but they cannot sign them out.

The Beaverbrook Collection was donated by Lord Beaverbrook. He is an important figure here in Fredericton and around the province. Library users may borrow books from this collection.
