St. Peter’s Episcopal Church graveyard is not only a quintessential Southern cemetery -- complete with old tombstones and Spanish moss -- but it also has many a story to tell.
One is about a young child who died suddenly and was buried here in the 1880s. Playful and happy during her living life, she refuses to remain quiet and at rest in death.
