Elmbridge High Streets Heritage Trail

In Elmbridge, our High Streets date back hundreds of years. Each one has always been at the centre of community life, yet the meaning, usage and identity of our local High Streets is ever changing.

This trail brings to life the history of businesses and buildings across the main shopping streets of Walton and Weybridge by telling their stories of evolution. Accompanying the audio guide is a display panel in each corresponding store, outlining the building’s past and tracking it's life from 'then' to 'now' using historic items and photos in Elmbridge Museum's collection.
