The Crossville® Slate collection in twO introduces innovative, design-focused vertical surfaces and coordinated wall-to-floor options. This 2mm-thin porcelain surface stands out by reducing material use and supporting large-format vertical installations. Produced with high recycled content and advanced manufacturing methods, twO cuts water and energy use by as much as 70% and CO₂ emissions by up to 80%, thanks to solar-powered hybrid kilns. Its lightweight nature means more efficient transport and less environmental impact from factory to jobsite. Inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics, Slate features organic textures and subdued tones that create a serene, balanced, and elegant atmosphere. Its understated style suits wellness, hospitality, and environments built around thoughtful experiences. While ideal for expansive walls and vertical surfaces due to its minimal structural load, Slate in twO also works for select furnishings or millwork, though its main strength is in architectural surfacing and integrated design. Available in a selection of neutral colors, this collection fits commercial, hospitality, and upscale residential settings. Crossville will stock the 2+ thickness for walls, with a 5.6mm option available by special order, allowing for cohesive wall-to-floor designs that ensure continuity, durability, and high-level style.
