Emily has been such a supportive fan of my work on Instagram that I was happy she volunteered to get her portrait painted. She came to the session with a great jacket that I wanted to incorporate as part of her portrait. The only downside to that is that her face was smaller in the portrait composition than most in order to fit her jacket into the frame. Still, I’m happy I chose the composition I did and she was great fun to talk with and paint.
