Welcome to the Historic Hotel Halbrook, birthplace of Frank Goad Clement, who served three terms as governor of Tennessee. The building is a Tennessee State Historic Site, owned by the State of Tennessee and operated by a local board of directors.
The hotel is on the Civil War Trails, as are other sites within Dickson County. A map of the Tennessee Civil War Trails is available in the gift shop.
The museum is also home to the Dickson County Visitors' Center which is part of the Whistle Stop shop and also the Drummers' Room.
