Part of the New Tribal Labyrinth project, this piece is a totem the artist imagined for a new utopian society in which agriculture and industrial production are back at the centre of family life. A very romantic idea in contrast with nowadays hyper fast global production and consumerism. At the peak of our contemporary lives can we go back to rituals to influence the course of life? Aren’t we already organizing in tribes, and testing primitive practices in our social media with our digital selves? What is your primitive modern ritual?
