Blockhouse #1

Blockhouses were used to defend the Fort in case of an attack. Within minutes these buildings would be filled with soldiers, armed with muskets and cannons. This blockhouse served as the Army Headquarters where daily duties were administered. There were also gaurds on duty 24 hours a day in this blockhouse.
