The next window, in rather lovely autumnal colours, shows two scenes. Above is St Anna, and below is the Presentation of the child Jesus in the Temple. This window, designed by Rhead, dates from 1891 and was made by James Powell and Sons, a famous company also known as Whitefriars Glass.
The Inscription reads: “This is our God. We have waited for Him and He will save us.” (Isaiah 25, verse 9). It was given by the parishioners in memory of the Honourable and Revd Gerard Noel, Vicar between 1840 and 1851.
