Shakespeare characters

Pirate, Merchant, and Monk

These three dolls, presumably Shakespearean characters, came from a small Italian village where artisans crafted marionettes for puppet shows. They’re not toys; they’re works of art. They literally embody the people of the past, because their heads were styled with actual human hair.
