Conclusion

On this walk we got to see the intriguing neighborhood of Hyde Square. The working class houses of Hyde Square tell the story of JP and this architectural diversity is mirrored by the wide variety of people living in the area.  Jamaica Plain remains a harmonious intermingling of peoples from across many spectrums.  This diversity of people makes Jamaica Plain the special place that it is today and extends the legacy of the neighborhood as a modern-day “Eden of America”.
