Mark loves baseball. And he knows I like the Mets, having grown up in Flushing, New York. So today, he came to get his portrait painted in a swank NY Mets jersey as opposed to the first time he came for his session in a great L.A. Dodgers jersey. The first time we tried to get his portrait done was Superbowl Sunday. On that day, it was so cold that the pipes froze at the Cherry Street Pier and we had to evacuate my studio mid-portrait. So today I wanted to start fresh on a new one and I’m glad I did. I really like the way it came out.
