Art Without Limits features temporary projects outside the confines of the gallery walls, bringing art to our community as an extension of the GOCA indoor gallery spaces. Creating community through unforgettable shared experiences with art is a guiding goal of the Art Without Limits program. We invite artists to engage with our students and community members, giving a platform to international, national, and regional artists alike.
Art Without Limits started in 2008 and launched a major new phase in 2018 with the opening of the INT Center for the Arts, which features numerous sculptures across its grounds. The program was founded and curated by former GOCA director Daisy McGowan. Thank you to the generous donors who helped make this possible. The Marie Walsh Sharp Art Foundation, the B. Vredenberg Foundation, Colorado Creative Industries, the CU President's Fund for the Humanities, CU Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Fund, the UCCS Green Action Fund, the UCCS Student Government Association, and many, many individual donors who believe in what we do.
GOCA raises 100% of the funds for the Art Without Limits program and our regular gallery programming. We couldn't do it without these generous supporters. So thank you. The Galleries of Contemporary Art, or GOCA, is an academic, nonprofit gallery on the UCCS campus. We work to serve the faculty and students, as well as the larger community in Colorado Springs. Our 2 galleries and outdoor sculpture program are located at the ENT Center for the Arts at UCCS.
