Bend in Time

There is something enthralling about Horseshoe Bend. As you stand on the rim, you get transported back in time when the Colorado River bent around the same sandstone escarpment as it has been doing for millions of years. For me, there’s something very peaceful and reassuring when experiencing the timeless beauty of the natural world. This image was captured just before sunset as the last rays of light illuminated the rim of the canyon.
